Aidin partners with hospitals and post-acute providers to enhance patient care coordination throughout Central Florida

Aidin’s cutting-edge technology improves care coordination and enhances communication among patients, care teams, and community healthcare partners

Aidin, a leading healthcare technology company, is proud to expand into Central Florida through its partnership with a premier not-for-profit healthcare system and post-acute providers. This supports Aidin’s continued growth to enhance the experience for patients, hospital teams, and the providers supporting the communities after patients leave the hospital. The partnership is expected to improve patient care coordination, reduce readmissions, shorten length of stay (LOS), and ultimately enhance overall patient outcomes by focusing on referrals, authorizations, and transportation from in-patient care units and emergency rooms (ERs).

Hundreds of post-acute providers in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area joined Aidin last week to celebrate and kick off onboarding the Aidin platform. With Aidin’s streamlined case management and post-acute pre-cert and authorization workflows, patients throughout Central Florida will benefit from higher quality of care, and the hospitals leveraging Aidin will also reduce operational costs.

This launch in Central Florida comes on the heels of other recent launches with hospital groups throughout the Southeast and continued successes nationwide. Historical data shows that organizations leveraging Aidin’s platform see an 85% rate of patients opting for top-quality post-acute care providers, a huge improvement over the national average. Across the U.S., a shockingly low number of patients are selecting the top-quality provider – only 14.7% of patients choose the best-skilled nursing facility (SNF), and even fewer (5.5%) choose the best home health agency (HHA).

Many post-acute providers share their excitement about Aidin’s rollout. In a recent NBC News 3 interview in Jackson, Mississippi, Rachel Davis, a Nurse Liason with The Nichols Center, shared she is looking forward to using Aidin because “it allows us quicker and easier access to what we need to review to get them admitted.”

Aidin launches in Central Florida in September 2023 across 20 major hospitals and facilities, as well as thousands of community care providers.
